Job Description

As a principal SoC/mmWave Test Engineer, you will lead a team of 7 test engineers, focusing on mixed signal, MMWave ADAS products. Your role involves early involvement in new product developments, leading test program development on Advantest 93K/EXA scale, and supporting DfX implementation. You will develop test concepts, programs, and hardware for wafer and final tests, ensuring milestones are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for introducing mass-production software/hardware and analyzing test data for IC design teams.
Must have:
  • Lead a team of 7 test engineers for new Radar Products.
  • Be involved early in new product developments and innovations.
  • Lead test program development on Advantest 93K/EXA scale platform.
  • Support DfX (Design for Excellence) definition and implementation.
  • Develop test concepts, programs, and hardware for wafer and final-test.
  • Be responsible for reaching test engineering related milestones.
  • Develop production and characterization hardware for automatic test equipment.
  • Introduce and release mass-production related soft- and hardware.
  • Analyze test data and report results to IC design teams.
Good to have:
  • MM Wave experience
  • SmarTest Software (versions 7 and 8)
  • German language skills
  • Dutch language skills

Your Role

In this exciting role as a principal SoC/mmWave Test Engineer, you will be working on mixed signal, MMWave ADAS products being a member of the product team and working in close co-operation with our designers and software engineers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the technical lead of test engineers (7 x FTEs) of upcoming new Radar Products.
  • Early involvement in new product developments and Innovations.
  • Responsible for leading test program development on Advantest 93K/EXA scale platform.
  • Support the definition & implementation of DfX (Design for Excellence) into new products in close cooperation with Test & DfT (Design for Test) Architects, Product Development and Product Engineering.
  • Based on the overall test strategy, develop test-concepts, test-programs and test-hardware for wafer- and final-test, according to the industrial requirements specification.
  • Be responsible for reaching of test engineering related milestones.
  • Be involved in development of production and characterization hardware for automatic test equipment with high test coverage (wafer and final test)
  • Be responsible for introduction and release of the mass-production related soft- and hardware
  • Analyze the test data and report results into the IC design teams.

Your Profile

  • BSc., or MSc., Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Communications Engineering /Mechatronic Engineering
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in developing test programs on Advantest PS1600 / EXA scale Digital, Analog and RF ICs.
  • Experience with leading technical teams.
  • Experience with risk management.
  • Experience with MM Wave is preferable.
  • Experience with requirements definition and management,
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in developing test HW for on Advantest PS1600 / EXA scale.
  • Preferable Knowledge in SmarTest Software versions 7 and 8
  • Analytical, Strong Planning, Organizing and Team leading Skills
  • Creativity / Innovative Ability / Team player
  • Fluent in English is a must , German and or Dutch is a plus.
