Job Summary

NXP's ACE Engineering, a central design organization, is seeking a Working Student for Digital Verification in Hamburg. In this role, you will support the digital verification team by connecting the verification environment to the ACE coverage dashboard. Key tasks include project registration, integrating the environment using Python/REST API, handling and uploading regression data, and automating data flows. This position offers flexible hours and a hybrid work setup.

Must Have

  • Enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog).
  • Understanding of structural and functional coverage.
  • Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, Make).
  • Interest in verification methodologies.
  • Fluent in English and/or German.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Help connect verification environment to ACE coverage dashboard.
  • Register projects in the coverage dashboard.
  • Connect environment to dashboard using Python/REST API.
  • Upload and prepare regression data (UVM & formal) for dashboard integration.
  • Integrate and automate data flows within existing environment.

  • Develop test benches for digital designs.
  • Build reusable verification environments/components in UVM.
  • Run functional RTL simulations with state-of-the-art EDA tools.
  • Apply and learn formal verification techniques.

ACE Engineering is NXP’s central design organization, developing innovative products for Automotive, IoT, Networking, and RF. Our expertise spans hardware architecture, IP, and full SoC design.

Your Role

You will help connect our verification environment to the ACE coverage dashboard, supporting our digital verification team. Your main tasks will include:

  • Project Registration: Learn how to register projects in the coverage dashboard.
  • Integration: Connect our environment to the dashboard using Python/REST API.
  • Data Handling: Upload and prepare regression data (UVM & formal) for dashboard integration.
  • Automation: Integrate and automate data flows within our existing environment.

Depending on your skills and interests, you can also:
