Job Description

Moonton is urgently seeking a Lead UI Designer in Shanghai to spearhead the overall UI visual system design for projects, establishing and implementing the game's visual style. This role involves designing core interfaces, icons, animations, and UI effects, ensuring quality, and deeply understanding card-based gameplay interaction logic to create a smooth user experience. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of UI design experience, including 2+ years as a Lead UI or UI Team Lead, with a strong background in mobile game development and launched projects. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator, along with familiarity with Unity UI or Unreal UMG UI implementation, is essential. The role requires excellent communication, aesthetic judgment, and team leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external resources.
Must Have:
  • Lead project's overall UI visual system design, establish and implement game's visual style.
  • Responsible for core interface, icon, animation, and UI effect design and quality control.
  • Deeply understand card-based gameplay interaction logic and information hierarchy for smooth experience.
  • Shape trendy and futuristic UI visual language based on project themes.
  • Collaborate with planners, artists, programmers, and TAs for efficient UI implementation in engine.
  • Manage and guide UI design team, coordinate outsourcing resources, ensure quality and style consistency.
  • 5+ years of UI design experience, 2+ years as Lead UI or UI Team Lead.
  • Familiar with mobile game R&D processes and experience with fully launched projects.
  • Deep understanding of American comic hero themes or related project experience.
  • Proficient in Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator.
  • Familiar with Unity UI (UGUI / UIToolkit) or Unreal UMG UI implementation processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and aesthetic judgment skills, capable of leading a team.

Job Requirements

1. Over 5 years of UI design experience, with over 2 years of experience as a Lead UI or UI Team Lead.

2. Familiar with mobile game R&D processes and possess experience with fully launched projects.

3. Have a deep understanding of American comic hero themes or related project experience, with unique insights into visual symbols, color language, and UI expression.

4. Deeply understand the interface layout and interaction logic of card-based or nurturing gameplay.

5. Proficient in mainstream design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.

6. Familiar with Unity UI (UGUI / UIToolkit) or Unreal UMG UI implementation processes.

7. Possess excellent communication, collaboration, and aesthetic judgment skills, capable of leading a team to continuously optimize visual quality.
