Then this might be a great opportunity for you: we are looking for an experienced Learning and Talent Development Leader with at least 10 years of professional experience in the field, a passion for collaboration and innovation, insight into quality and risk management, and strong skills in maintaining stakeholder relationships.

What will you do?

As Learning & Talent Development Leader, you are responsible for the overarching strategy and vision on learning and development within PwC NL. You thereby contribute to the broader People Strategy in line with the demand and needs from the business. This position is based in Amsterdam.

You lead the Learning & Development team. This team consists of 4 L&D Leaders, learning design experts, learning experience experts, quality management experts, and operations specialists (a total of 30 employees). You lead the L&D Management Team (in which the 4 L&D Leaders are represented) and are responsible for the total L&D budget, resources, and stakeholder relationships. As L&TD Leader, you report directly to the People Cluster Lead and are part of the People Cluster Management Team. You also maintain a close relationship with the PwC Europe L&D Leader team, where you have contact with your European colleagues. Representatives of the LoS leadership teams are your most important stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include

Strategy & Vision:

  • Defining the L&D strategy, vision, and annual plan, aligning these with all involved stakeholders and translating them into an executable implementation plan for the team.
  • Bridging global, European, and local L&D initiatives.
  • Participating in the People Cluster Management Team, advising MT members and the People Cluster Lead on how L&D contributes to the broader People Strategy agenda.
  • Collaborating within broader People Cluster projects.

  • Connecting with other teams within the People Cluster, Firm Services (such as R&Q) and beyond where relevant.
  • Historically, the Learning & Talent Development Leader takes on part of the L&D curriculum and/or Hub leadership responsibilities. Currently, this includes partner & director development, digital (re)skilling, learning culture, and skills strategy.

Innovation & Change:

  • Stimulating innovation within the team by utilizing digital solutions, technology, and outsourcing (Katowice).
  • Staying informed about relevant developments in Learning & Talent Development.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

For this role, we are looking for a professional who can collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that the L&D curriculum and initiatives are continuously aligned with business needs and contribute to the goal of L&D: ensuring that our professionals are future-proof in a changing business context.

You have an eye for innovation, are creative, and know how to effectively deploy resources within a team to achieve excellent results together. In addition, you have knowledge of quality management and risk procedures, especially with regard to regulations related to learning (such as continuous education).

You are a driven and experienced L&D professional with experience in developing strategy, leading changes, and managing teams. You can translate business needs into effective L&D projects and are able to staff these projects with L&D professionals. You know how to integrate innovation into L&D initiatives and distinguish between 'nice to haves' and real game changers.

You are analytically strong and not afraid of details (especially in the areas of finance, resource management, and quality management). At the same time, you are able to conceptualize, make connections, and convey the broader vision.

People see you as a connector who builds reliable relationships. You are proactive, communicative, open-minded, and have the drive to continuously improve not only your own work but also that of your team. You have an eye for the people you manage.

Furthermore, we ask:

  • You have a completed university education and at least 10 years of work experience.
  • You have relevant L&D experience within a comparable organization.
  • You have experience as a project leader and have been responsible for managing resources, budget, risks, and schedules.
  • You are flexible and can constantly switch between different projects and priorities.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

What do we offer you?

At PwC, you get the space to be yourself, to get the best out of yourself within a high-performance organization, and to grow within our global network. As part of our team, we offer:

  • A competitive salary, an attractive pension plan, and development opportunities;
  • Customized training for professional growth;
  • A motivating work environment where collaboration with ambitious colleagues and appreciation for your contribution are central;
  • Extensive secondary employment conditions including a 'well-being budget' for physical and mental health;
  • Flexibility in hybrid working, including an ergonomic home office and a fixed expense allowance including internet allowance;
  • Attractive mobility options, including an electric lease car, car guarantee allowance, and the possibility to use various shared transport providers;
  • 32 vacation days per year.
