Job Summary
WildBrain CPLG, a world-leading entertainment, sport, and brand licensing agency, is seeking a Legal Intern for a 12-month placement in China. This hybrid role offers an amazing opportunity for a student to gain exposure to all areas of the licensing business, working closely with the Legal and Finance teams. The intern will learn about content licensing, co-development, production, and licensing for consumer products, gaming, and location-based entertainment, gaining valuable industry experience within a successful international business.
Must Have
- Coordinate day-to-day administration for Senior Legal Affairs Manager.
- Conduct legal research and compile information from legal resources.
- Maintain and organize legal files and records.
- Manage payment process with third-party service providers.
- Translate Peanuts LOA as needed by UK Legal team.
- Distribute WildBrain in-house brands hologram labels and keep records.
- Assist with mailing, scanning, copying, and other assigned jobs.
- Possess Legal Professional Qualification Certificate (A).
- Educated to Bachelor degree level (at a minimum).
- Able to commit to at least 4 days a week.

About the Role
WildBrain is offering an amazing opportunity for an internship for student to gain exposure to all areas of the licensing business within WildBrain CPLG in China.
You will work closely with Legal and Finance team. You will get to learn about content licensing, co-development, production, and licensing for consumer products, gaming, and location-based entertainment. This placement will give valuable industry experience and insight into the operations of a successful international business.
Job Description
- Coordinating day-to-day administration to provide general support to Senior Legal Affairs Manager.
- Conducting legal research and compiling information from legal resources.
- Maintaining and organizing legal files and records.
- Working closely with Finance Team and managing the payment process with third party service providers including but not limited to Law Firms, Translation Service Companies, and Hologram Suppliers.
- Translating Peanuts LOA as needed by UK Legal team.
- Distributing WildBrain in-house brands hologram labels and keeping a clear record.
- Assisting with mailing, scanning, copying, and other jobs assigned by Legal Affairs Manager.
Qualifications
- Organized, with attention to detail and an ability to prioritize.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Fluent in Chinese and English (CET-6 or above).
- Team player, flexible, able to work independently with initiative.
- High sense of confidentiality.
- Educated to Bachelor degree level (at a minimum).
- Legal Professional Qualification Certificate (A) is a must.
- Able to commit to at least 4 days a week.
