Job Description

Mimecast is seeking a Renewals Manager - APAC to serve as a key business leader within the APAC team. This role involves managing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new Customers & Partners, leading a team responsible for negotiating renewal terms, preventing downsell & churn, and identifying growth opportunities. The leader will oversee all APAC renewal operations, including quoting and order processing, engage with global & regional leaders to define & execute renewal strategies, and work cross-functionally to increase efficiency and drive fundamental business change.
Must Have:
  • Oversee all APAC renewal operations, including quoting, price increase application, order processing, and system monitoring
  • Responsible for the development of methods, techniques, & evaluation criteria for all Licensing related projects, programs, and people
  • Engage with global & regional leaders to define & execute renewal strategies to increase revenue
  • Work cross functionally with teams in all segments of the business to increase efficiency
  • Identify and evaluate areas for process enhancement
  • Work on cross functional projects with other leaders
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of underlying business principles & the impact of regulatory requirements in multiple areas
  • Ability to lead & inspire others
  • Owns and drives fundamental business change
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally with multiple different teams
  • Show confidence & humility
  • CRM experience – preferably Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Strong customer orientation, skilled at opening doors and understanding the business requirements of senior decision-makers
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and negotiating/closing strategic opportunities
  • Familiarity and experience with both direct and indirect sales
  • Experience working closely with large channel partners
  • Attention and orientation to detail, works well in multi-cultural environments, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with change management and driving sales cadence, operational rigor, and discipline in teams
  • A compelling leadership style that includes exceptional people management skills, program management, business and technology expertise with a style that inspires confidence in Mimecast and its products

Mimecast is seeking a Renewals Manager - APAC to serve as a key member and business leader within the APAC team. To be successful in this role you must have an inbuilt desire to be efficient, have a high attention to detail, and have the ability to manage multiple time sensitive activities.

As the Renewals Manager - APAC, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new Customers & Partners. You will manage a team who owns a portfolio of accounts, negotiating renewal terms, preventing downsell & churn, identifying opportunities for account growth through cross-selling or upselling, and collaborating with other teams like sales and customer success to ensure customer satisfaction.

This leader must bring the growth mindset and strategic ability to keep building and scaling the organization at pace, with a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach, leading the Renewals sales engine on the ground, driving cadence and sales discipline.

What You'll Do:

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $168k−$252k (OTE) plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
