World leader in driving assistance systems, Valeo reinvents life on board the vehicle and revolutionizes the driving experience. From connectivity and interior control solutions to detection systems, the Valeo Brain Division of the Group aims to make mobility safer and more intuitive.
The Valeo Site based in Annemasse (74) is a Research & Development center and a production site. It brings together 340 employees around the design and manufacture of solutions for the interior of the cabin and driving assistance systems (head-up display, central screen, ceiling light, etc.).
Your missions:
Team supervision
- Ensure the integration and training of all new arrivals (including temporary workers).
- Analyze skill needs and plan necessary training to develop team autonomy and versatility.
- Anticipate staffing needs according to the planned workload.
- Manage the team's daily life: absences, holidays, compliance with safety rules and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with break times, meetings and working hours.
- Lead team meetings, monitor objectives and maintain a positive social climate.
- Conduct annual appraisals, career reviews and proposals for development or remuneration.
Maintaining standards and safety
- Organize weekly safety briefings and monitor associated action plans.
- Ensure strict application of safety rules, particularly traffic between pedestrians and forklifts.
- Ensure that each position has up-to-date work instructions.
- Guarantee compliance with quality, safety, 5S and first-level maintenance standards.
- Check the condition of logistics equipment (handling equipment, storage areas) and ensure their proper functioning.
- Update visual aids and performance indicators at the end of the shift.
Management of logistics operations
- Manage goods flows: reception, storage, supply of production lines and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with transport schedules and delivery times.
- Adapt human and material resources according to the activity load.
- Identify and resolve operational problems in conjunction with support functions.
- Report major incidents or risks to the site Supply Chain manager.
- Monitor performance indicators (quality, safety, costs, deadlines, etc.) and prepare activity reports.
Continuous improvement
- Implement action plans to improve logistics performance (safety, quality, productivity, deadlines, motivation).
- Identify and manage optimization actions (layout of areas, risk reduction, productivity gains).
- Participate in the introduction of new equipment or technologies (automation, AGV, etc.).
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, problem solving, Lean Manufacturing).
- Collaborate with support teams to facilitate the implementation of improvement actions.
- Contribute to budget preparation and the achievement of performance objectives for the logistics scope.
About you:
- Degree in logistics, supply chain or similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a logistics or supervisory function, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Skills in inventory management, planning and flow optimization.
- Good knowledge of logistics and transport regulations, and proficiency in an ERP (such as SAP).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong team spirit.
- Rigor, reactivity and results orientation.
- Fluent French and English.
