Job Summary

The Quality Trainee will gain foundational experience in quality control and assurance processes within a manufacturing environment. This role is designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies to support Ichikoh Industries' commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
  • Assist in conducting inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Learn and apply various quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA).
  • Participate in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with production teams to understand manufacturing processes and identify areas for quality improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate quality records, documentation, and reports.
  • Support the development and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
  • Undergo training and mentorship from experienced quality engineers and managers.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards professional development.

Good to Have

  • Basic understanding of quality management principles (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
