Job Summary
The Quality Trainee will gain foundational experience in quality control and assurance processes within a manufacturing environment. This role is designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies to support commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure adherence to established quality specifications and standards.
- Learn and apply various quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA).
- Participate in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production teams to understand manufacturing processes and identify areas for quality improvement.
- Assist in maintaining accurate quality records, documentation, and reports.
- Support the development and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
- Undergo training and mentorship from experienced quality engineers and managers.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
- Basic understanding of quality management principles (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is an advantage.
