Quality Assurance Operator X-X-Ray - 2nd Shift

This role involves performing product audits of gas turbine components, calibrating tools, and applying complex measurements. The operator will set up and perform X-ray inspections of production parts, pipes, and welder samples, establishing radiographic techniques and interpreting images. Maintaining accurate records and working as part of a team are essential. The position contributes to accelerating reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions.

Must Have

• Perform product audits of gas turbine components, parts, assemblies, and fabrications.
• Calibrate non-standard product tools, fixtures, and gauges using standard and special gauging techniques.
• Apply geometric, trigonometric, and algebraic relationship in the set up and measurements of complex parts, fixtures, and gauging.
• Set up and x-ray production parts, pipe, and welder samples.
• Establish radiographic techniques and processes, read and interpret x-ray film or real-time images.
• Maintain accurate records including retrievability.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM).
• Minimum High School diploma / GED equivalent.
• Successfully complete the Quality Assurance Operator Test.
• Successfully pass required testing for NDT certification.
• Prior experience in Quality Operations.
• Meet medical/physical Quality Assurance Operator requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

What you'll do:

• Perform other related duties.
• Perform all duties as part of a team.
• The employee is expected to be at their designated workstation ready to work at their assigned starting time.

What you'll bring:

• Must successfully complete the Quality Assurance Operator Test
• Must successfully pass required testing for NDT certification

Pay Rate:

The pay for this position is $34.70 - $35.96. This position is also eligible for shift premium when you work on an off shift i.e. 2nd or 3rd shift. Plus $1.00 USD an hour on top of base pay. This posting is expected to close on February 23, 2025.
