Job Summary

This Sourcing Specialist role at Gevernova supports TGTS repair shop operations by managing sourcing activities. Responsibilities include identifying and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating optimal pricing, processing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in an engineering manufacturing environment, proficiency in Japanese and English, and strong technical and core competencies.

Must Have

  • Identify, develop, and onboard new suppliers to expand vendor base
  • Conduct negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service agreements
  • Manage end-to-end buying processes and follow key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Process purchase requisitions accurately and efficiently
  • Issue purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor supplier fulfillment performance and delivery schedules
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve payment and invoicing issues
  • Maintain comprehensive supplier databases and track performance KPIs
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes and systems
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in an engineering manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new systems
  • Professional proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal communication)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and analytical abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

This role supports TGTS repair shop operation on sourcing activities. To ensure that all materials/parts, tooling and supplies required by Operations/Production are efficiently and effectively purchased locally and from overseas.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Identify, develop, and onboard new suppliers to expand vendor base
  • Conduct negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service agreements
  • Manage end-to-end buying processes and follow key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Education & Experience

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in an engineering manufacturing environment
