The Valeo site based in Annemasse (74) is a Research & Development center and a production site. It brings together 340 employees around the design and manufacture of solutions for the interior of the cabin and driving assistance systems (head-up display, central screen, ceiling light, etc.).
We are recruiting a Production Supervisor (M/F)
Your missions:
Reporting to the Autonomous Production Unit Manager, you manage and lead production in your sector, in compliance with Safety, Quality, Cost, and Deadline objectives.
You lead your team daily and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of industrial performance.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Ensure production
- Guarantee the manufacture of products according to quality, cost, deadline, and safety objectives.
- Organize teams and adapt staffing based on workload.
- Ensure rigorous application of work standards, safety instructions, and quality procedures.
- Monitor performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate daily priorities with logistics and support services.
- Participate in the startup of new equipment and the implementation of new production processes.
Manage and develop your team
- Welcome and integrate new arrivals, including temporary staff.
- Plan and lead team meetings.
- Develop the versatility and skills of operators (on-the-job training, qualification monitoring).
- Manage scheduling, absences, and reinforcement needs in liaison with Human Resources.
- Foster a positive social climate and motivate your employees.
Drive continuous improvement
- Lead analysis and optimization workshops (5S, waste reduction, process improvement).
- Identify and implement progress actions to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of your scope's budget.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and customer satisfaction.
About you:
- Bac +5 minimum education (engineer or equivalent), with at least 5 years of experience in industrial production.
- Mastery of continuous improvement tools, production standards, and team management techniques.
- Confirmed experience in team supervision, including the management of temporary staff.
- Operational English to interact with clients and participate in audits.
- Field leadership, rigor, sense of organization, and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
- Good command of analysis and problem-solving tools (e.g., "5 Whys" method, PDCA action plan...).
- Proven team management and communication skills.
