Job Description
Bounteous x Accolite is seeking a Magento Senior Backend Developer in India for a full-time, hybrid role. This position involves building sites from scratch using Magento2, analyzing existing applications, implementing new features, resolving defects, and improving performance. The developer will take end-to-end ownership of applications, work directly with clients, and provide status updates. Strong communication and agile methodology experience are essential.
Good To Have:
- Experience of working in Magento cloud environment
Must Have:
- Deep understanding of Magento2 and MYSQL
- Strong in using knockout JS
- Experience in customizing frontend themes and modules to customer requirements
- Experience in customizing catalog / checkout / payment / shipping processes in Magento
- Sound knowledge of MVC Architecture, design patterns, and ORM
- Capable of writing complex queries
- Very good knowledge on REST API
- Well versed with continuous integration tools and code repositories
- Good experience in Agile methodologies
- Ability to build sites from scratch using Magento2 framework
- Analyze existing applications - code, workflows, integrations
- Implement new features and resolve existing defects
- Work on performance improvements of applications
- Take ownership of applications end to end and work with clients directly to clarify requirements
- Provide status updates to clients and leads on a daily basis
- Expected to undergo certification if not done already
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
