Mail Prep Operator- Night Shift

CSG is seeking a Mail Prep Operator for the night shift. Responsibilities include inspecting mail for USPS compliance, operating production machinery, loading mail onto trucks, managing inventory, and maintaining daily logs. Candidates must be dependable, able to work a 12-hour rotating night shift (6 PM - 6 AM) including weekends, proficient with computers and Excel, capable of physical tasks (standing, walking, lifting 25-50 lbs), and perform basic math. No prior experience is required.

Must Have

• Inspect inserted mail to ensure USPS specifications are met
• Operate machinery on the production floor for mail processing
• Load processed mail onto USPS pallets or carts and then onto a USPS truck
• Understand the inventory process for mail prep supplies and place orders if necessary
• Maintain daily logs for recording and balancing mail counts
• Dependable and open to working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule of 6 PM - 6 AM, including some weekends and holidays
• Ability to use a personal computer and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Ability to stand/walk for 95% of the shift, bend, stoop, and lift materials between 25-50 lbs on a frequent basis
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Proficient in English in a business environment
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

• Operate machinery on the production floor for mail processing.
• Load processed mail onto USPS pallets or carts and then onto a USPS truck ensuring that the pallets are positioned correctly.
• Understand the inventory process for mail prep supplies and place orders if necessary.
• Maintain daily logs for recording and balancing mail counts.

• 12- hour Rotating Work Schedule Example: Work 2 days then you get the next 2 days off. Then work the following 3 days then you get the next 2 days off
• Can use a personal computer and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
• Can stand/walk for 95% of the shift. Able to bend stoop and lift materials between 25-50 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Can perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficient in English in a business environment.
• Can successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Position Pay Range:

$17.85-$24.46

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
