Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who can also assist our Training and Enablement team to deliver Solution Development training for new starters and partners. This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications or systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable software solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. They will also assist with the development and maintenance of Developer training materials to match the evolving Product base and best practice.

Must Have

  • Design, develop, and improve high-quality code.
  • Deploy solutions for customers based on our core platform, Quote & Order.
  • Design and develop new capabilities for our core CPQ, order management platform.
  • Design, develop, and deploy reusable modular software components.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a creative and agile team.
  • Contribute to our development toolchain and methodologies.
  • Work with architects, analysts, and quality analysts.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of high-quality learning materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years software development experience with modern Java SE (8+).
  • Skills in SQL, PostgreSQL, MyBatis, Apache Kafka, GraphQL, and REST API frameworks.
  • Development, packaging, and release toolchain experience with CI/CD practices (e.g., Github, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, Kubernetes).
  • Work well within a team environment using Agile methods.
  • Completely at home in a Linux/MacOS/Docker development environment.
  • Proactive and independent contributor.
  • Good communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge in Business Process Management and Rules libraries (Camunda, Activiti, Drools, etc.)

Job Description

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable software solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.

They will also assist with the development and maintenance of Developer training materials to match the evolving Product base and best practice

Responsibilities may also include troubleshooting issues, optimizing code, and staying updated with emerging technologies.

  • Design, develop, and improve high-quality code that meets the functional and non-functional requirements and deploy solutions for our customers based on our core platform, Quote & Order.
  • Design and develop new capabilities for our core CPQ , order management platform.
  • Design, develop, and deploy reusable modular software components for integration and processes to be used in customer solutions.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a creative and agile team and contribute to our development toolchain and methodologies.
  • Work with architects and analysts to understand and interpret end-to-end architecture and client requirements and quality analysts to assess and resolve issues and bugs.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of high-quality learning materials, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended solutions.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years software development experience with modern Java SE (8+)
  • Skills in SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MyBatis, Apache Kafka, GraphQL, and REST API frameworks
  • Development, packaging, and release toolchain experience with CI/CD practices (e.g., Github, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Work well within a team environment using Agile methods.

  • Candidate who is proactive. Independent Contributor with minimum support while working on projects.
  • Good Communication skills to work with our team in Australia , Europe , CALA, Indonesia & Malaysia
