Job Summary

As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead customer-centric initiatives within the Customer Experience team, focusing on improving Ascendon's SaaS offering and supporting client project delivery. This role involves full-spectrum design, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and delivery, with a strong emphasis on user-centered solutions. You will create high-fidelity prototypes, support user research, and contribute to evolving a multi-channel design system, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and QA teams.

Must Have

  • Over 5 years of experience in UX/UI design roles
  • Degree in a design-related field
  • User-centric mindset
  • Solid foundation in research practices (persona creation, journey mapping, usability testing)
  • Comfortable designing responsive interfaces across native and web platforms
  • Proven experience working with and contributing to design systems and pattern libraries
  • Proficient in collaborating with engineers, QA teams, and senior management

Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Lead customer-centric initiatives within the Customer Experience team to improve Ascendon's SaaS offering and support client project delivery.
  • Contribute as a full-spectrum designer to every stage of the design lifecycle—from initial research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and delivery, with a focus on user-centered solutions.
  • Create and refine high-fidelity prototypes with a strong focus on interface, interaction, and visual design, ensuring alignment with usability best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Support user research activities as needed—such as persona creation, journey mapping, or usability testing—to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
  • Contribute to maintaining and evolving a multi-channel, multi-theme design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across platforms and brands.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and QA teams on the strategic roadmap and specific client projects.

You should have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in UX/UI design roles, backed by a degree in a design-related field, and a passion for technology and innovative design.
  • A user-centric mindset with a strong focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and meaningful experiences that meet user needs and business goals throughout the design process.
  • A solid foundation in research practices such as persona creation, journey mapping, and usability testing, with the willingness to adapt and grow research skills as needed.
  • Comfortable designing responsive interfaces across a broad range of platforms, including native and web, ensuring an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Proven experience working with and contributing to design systems and pattern libraries, utilizing atomic design principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency in design solutions.
  • Proficient in collaborating with engineers, QA teams, and senior management to translate technical requirements into cohesive and efficient design solutions.
  • A commitment to lean, agile methodologies, with a problem-driven approach to design, and a dedication to driving continuous improvement and innovation in design practices.
