Job Description
Aptiv is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Bangalore, India, for full-time onsite work. The role involves breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance, specifically for dies (applicators). Key responsibilities include analyzing daily breakdowns, coordinating maintenance activities, managing spare parts, and monitoring tool lifetime. Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and 3-5 years of experience in the W/H manufacturing industry, with knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, Process Flow, FMEA, and Control Plan.
Must Have:
- Knowledge on breakdown, Preventive & predictive maintenance
- Maintenance of die’s (Applicators)
- Analyzing daily breakdown & initiating countermeasures
- Co-ordination with team for maintenance activities
- Knowledge on MTTR & MTBF calculation
- Localization of imported spare parts
- Knowledge of Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan
- Knowledge of W/H Manufacturing process
- Spare part planning & procuring, Maintain optimum spare inventory
- Tool lifetime study & monitoring
- Co-ordination with Engg & MFG team for ECN & new project implementation
