Job Description
Position Summary:
The Manager, Global B2B Communications will be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications programs that elevate Visa’s Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS) business globally. This role will combine strategic media relations, analyst and influencer engagement, executive visibility, and multi-channel content development to drive awareness, thought leadership, and reputation-building efforts.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience across product/B2B communications, media relations, content strategy, and stakeholder engagement—with proven expertise in analyst and influencer relations. This role requires strong storytelling skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects across diverse global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
General Communications & Media Relations
- Develop and execute proactive communications strategies to strengthen Visa’s CMS brand positioning and thought leadership in B2B payments and money movement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and editorial contacts.
- Draft press releases, media statements, blogs, op-eds, and executive bylines.
- Support executive communications, including speechwriting, talking points, and presentation development for industry conferences and events.
- Partner with internal teams to identify and amplify CMS success stories, customer case studies, and innovation milestones.
- Collaborate with global communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across regions and business units.
Influencer Relations:
- Develop and execute influencer strategies to enhance Visa's brand presence and engagement within the industry.
- Identify, vet and build relationships with key influencers, creators and partners in the financial services sector.
- Create and manage influencer marketing campaigns in conjunction with agency, including outreach, vetting, negotiation, onboarding, and relationship management.
Analyst Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier industry analysts and B2B influencers, including industry analysts, advisors and fintech evangelists.
- Drive strategic, high impact engagements with top-tier industry analysts and B2B influencers, by developing and executing a yearlong program of regular briefings and inquiries.
- Influence and build analyst mindshare to ensure Visa Direct and Visa Commercial Solutions are favorably represented in relevant media coverage, research reports and market evaluations.
- Develop and maintain regular internal reporting on analyst and influencer interactions, sentiment trends, competitive insights, and share of voice across platforms.
- Amplify top reviews and ratings across key communications channels and partner with marketing for further lead generation and sales efforts.
- Lead quarterly analyst newsletter development from Visa Direct and Visa Commercial Solutions.
- Maintain analyst engagement records and insights.
- Plan and execute local industry analyst summits and provide the sales teams with insights from the analyst community.
Social Media:
- Lead the social media strategy for Visa CMS organization on LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube.
- Define and grow Visa CMS presence on social media by developing and implementing a targeted social media strategy across both Visa and executive channels
- Collaborate with communications and marketing to integrate social media into all campaigns and events
- Manage global content programs to sustain high reach and engagement across multiple markets
Measurement & Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of influencer and analyst campaigns, suggesting and implementing improvements based on performance data
- Provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness and insights for future optimization.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- 6+ years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related field, with proven success in managing media, influencer, and analyst relations.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in B2B or enterprise communications preferred.
- Knowledge of social media strategy and analytics tools.
- Comfortable working in a global, highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving environment.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
