SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Harnesses and Interiors Design Engineer to join their fast-growing global engineering group. The role involves designing and developing interior vehicle components, creating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, participating in design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will document design concepts, risk assessments, and performance evaluations, and support change management processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects within the automotive sector.
Good To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
- Advanced Siemens NX skills, including electrical routing.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience with Altair SimSolid and CAE principles.
Must Have:
- Design and develop interior vehicle components.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, applying GD&T specifications.
- Take part in design reviews and integration meetings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Document design concepts, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Support change management and revision control processes.
- More than 1 year of experience in design engineering, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX and a solid understanding of SAE wiring design fundamentals.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Reside in Toluca or near this area.
- Reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, applying GD&T specifications.
- Take part in design reviews and integration meetings, sharing your ideas and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all program requirements are met.
- Clearly document your design concepts, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Support change management and revision control processes to keep projects on track.
Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience in the area
- Experience in design engineering, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX and a solid understanding of SAE wiring design fundamentals.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Design preferred
