Job Summary

As a Manager, Sales Operations at SS&C, a leading financial services and healthcare technology company, you will be responsible for optimizing sales and relationship management operations. This involves building client relationships, conducting in-depth analysis to identify improvements, driving corporate initiatives, and managing projects from initiation to completion. You will also provide sales support and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree, at least 5 years of corporate experience in a financial institution, strong MS Office skills, and experience with a Software Management system.

Must Have

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Sales and Relationship Management operations
  • Develop innovative solutions to address challenges and enhance business performance
  • Drive corporate sales and relationship management initiatives
  • Research and build knowledge about industry solutions, products, services, technology
  • Meet with subject matter experts for operational workflows
  • Manage partnership program for corporate sales organization
  • Coordinate meetings with influencers and consultants to drive new business
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Provide meeting preparation support and deck creation
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality, timeline, and accuracy
  • Create, adapt, and follow project schedules and deadlines
  • Remain up-to-date on technological and product developments
  • Provide sales support for various ad hoc requests
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years minimum corporate experience at a financial institution
  • Strong competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with a Software Management system
  • Ability to interact with staff across all levels and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding organization and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Superior attention to detail, grammar, and vocabulary
  • Understanding of the alternative investment management industry, middle and back-office processes

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Sales and Relationship Management operations to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to address challenges and enhance business performance
  • Drive corporate sales and relationship management initiatives down to unit-level teams across the firm
  • Research and build knowledge about solutions, products, services, technology, or concepts related to the industry
  • Meet with subject matter experts to ensure that specialized operational workflows are appropriately addressed and discussed
  • Manage partnership program for the corporate sales organization and coordinates meetings with influencers and consultants in the market to drive new business
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion for delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Provide meeting preparation support and deck creation as needed
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the quality, timeline, and accuracy expected by the company
  • Create, adapt, and follow project schedules and deadlines
  • Remain up-to-date on technological and product developments and universal specifications relevant to the industry.
  • Provide sales support for various ad hoc requests

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 5 years minimum corporate experience at a financial institution
  • Strong competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate information into a clear, compelling message
  • Experience with a Software Management system
  • Ability to interact with staff across all levels and operate in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing project requirements
  • Outstanding organization and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure, high-workload environment
  • Superior attention to detail, grammar, and vocabulary
  • Understanding of the alternative investment management industry; middle and back-office processes, and organization

NY: Salary range for the position: $100,000 plus discretionary bonus USD to $120,000 plus discretionary bonus USD.
