Playtika (NASDAQ: PLTK) is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join their team. The company focuses on creating immersive experiences through cutting-edge technologies like AI and machine learning. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual test cases, leading QA efforts for projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, UI/UX, and acceptance testing. Your role will involve identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using JIRA, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and assisting in root cause analysis of production issues. You will also advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to improving QA best practices.
Must have:
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases.
  • Lead QA efforts for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UI/UX, and acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and post-release verification.
  • Advocate for quality and improve QA best practices.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with cross-functional global teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Good to have:
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or Swagger.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Lead and own QA efforts for multiple projects or components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, BI, SA) to clarify requirements and identify edge cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UI/UX, and acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA).
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and post-release verification of production issues.
  • Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle and help improve QA best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing and executing test cases
  • Solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate backend data.
