Marketing Assistant (Apprenticeship)

As a marketing assistant, reporting to the Marketing Director at Valeo headquarters, you will be part of a multicultural team and will have the opportunity to have a real impact on strategic and innovative projects. Your main responsibilities will include market watch, strategic reporting, and event analysis to keep the management team informed of the latest industry trends and developments.

Must Have

• Regularly conduct market research (press articles, conferences, etc.) on strategic topics
• Assist in drafting reports on manufacturers and competitors to guide strategic decision-making
• Summarize key points from automotive events to keep the management team informed
• Student in business school, engineering school or university, with a specialization in marketing
• Curious, autonomous and rigorous
• Excellent team spirit and great creativity
• Comfortable with using a data-driven approach for analysis, while remaining results-oriented
• Able to work with full proficiency in English and Chinese
• Passionate about social networks and proactive in all your missions

Your missions:

• Market watch: Regularly conduct market research (press articles, conferences, etc.) on strategic topics. Your analyses will play a crucial role in decisions made at the highest level.
• Strategic reports: Assist in drafting reports on manufacturers and competitors to guide strategic decision-making. You will have the opportunity to present these reports to directors and senior managers.
• Event analysis: Summarize key points from automotive events to keep the management team informed of the latest industry trends and developments.

About you:

• You are a student in business school, engineering school or university, with a specialization in marketing.
• You are curious, autonomous and rigorous, while having an excellent team spirit and great creativity.
• You are comfortable with using a data-driven approach to conduct your analyses, while remaining results-oriented.
• You are able to work with full proficiency in English and Chinese.
• You are passionate about social networks and proactive in all your missions.
