  • Minimum 5 years in trade marketing or sales support in automotive/industrial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and data analysis software.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in customer relations.
  • Experience in social media marketing and content creation.
  • Valid driving license and flexible approach to travel.

Job Purpose

Responsible for executing promotional and marketing activities in collaboration with distributors and PHINIA commercial teams to drive local market growth. This role will predominantly focus on executing promotional activities to enhance sales, increase brand presence across the local market, & drive customer engagement and visibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities

Trade marketing

  • Facilitate effective collaboration and alignment between product marketing and commercial teams, executing marketing plans in the field to drive local market(s) growth
  • Act as an internal advocate for customer needs and insight
  • Design and execute localized sales campaigns
  • Track, analyze and report campaign effectiveness, making data-driven improvements

Customer engagement

  • Actively engage with direct and indirect customers, and develop appropriate actions, to support product visibility and sales performance
  • Efficiently respond to customer requests for information & support; enlist help from other teams where necessary

Sales enablement & external communications

  • Manage Point Of Sale materials, merchandise, promotional items, newsletters, brochures, flyers, and external presentations in collaboration with the relevant internal teams
  • Lead market communication of New-To-Range (NTR) & First-To-Market (F2M) products with customers
  • Manage merchandising and promotional giveaways
  • Collaborate with regional Brand & Communication Manager to create high-impact promotional material
  • Execute digital marketing actions to enhance online engagement and conversions via both our channels and customer channels
  • Deliver product training to sales teams / customer as /when required
  • Tailor all content to local audience needs ensuring high accuracy levels

Event & trade show management

  • Organize training events and dealer activations
  • Plan and coordinate national & local industry events in collaboration with regional Brand & Communications Manager
  • Organize and manage internal events in collaboration with regional Brand & Communications Manager

Sales & marketing performance analysis

  • Track and analyze campaign performance, sales data & customer engagement & develop actions to drive continual improvements
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize trade marketing investments
  • Analyze and report on turnover impact by customers / International Trading Groups

Price management

  • Key contributor to local price list development & management, working in close collaboration with regional Category team to ensure regional consistency and adherance to pricing strategy

Press & media management

  • Implement communication activities to enhance brand and product visibility within key media & press channels alligned to the region.
  • Closely collaborate with the regional Brand & Communications Manager to ensure regional consistency and full adherance to PHINIA’s media processes & guidelines

Continuous improvement (CI)

  • Identify and lead CI opportunities activities within the local market(s)

What we’re looking for

Education/Experience - Required Qualifications and skills

  • 5+ years in trade marketing, channel marketing or sales support within the automotive aftermarket or industrial sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Experience in retail, B2B marketing and sales channel support.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including sales teams, dealers and marketing agencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and data analysis software.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in building customer relations and loyalty
  • Strong analytical abilities and will have a data-oriented approach
  • Confident ability to present and communicate effectively with customers
  • Experience of social media marketing and content creation
  • Open minded with high level of enthusiasm and energy
  • Commercial mindset
  • Self-starter and highly motivated
  • Must own a valid driving license
  • Have a flexible approach to travel

Education/Experience – Preferred skills
