Job Summary
The MBU Product Manager will develop and execute go-to-market strategies and product financial plans for the Mobile Business Unit. This role involves managing products from conception to end-of-life, ensuring requirements meet OEM targets, and driving product development teams. Responsibilities include P&L ownership, creating market-focused plans, communicating product positioning, and generating collateral. The manager will also perform ad hoc analysis for senior management and ensure accountability in third-party component selection.
Must Have
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for Mobile Business Unit products

- Ensure product requirements and specifications meet target OEMs and segments
- Create and maintain market-focused go-to-market plans
- Drive product development teams to meet objectives and resolve issues
- Accountability in 3rd party component selection
- Generate product collateral (roadmaps, sales tools)
- Perform ad hoc analysis for senior management
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, Python
- Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Salesforce.com, SAP, SharePoint, MS Office suite
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Workflow, Active Workspace, Report and Query Builder
- Market research and competitive analysis skills
- Understanding of End-to-End NAND and DRAM Manufacturing Processes, architecture, and JEDEC standards

Responsible for developing go-to-market plans and working with cross-functional teams to execute Mobile Business Unit’s product financial plans. Contribute to developing processes within the Product Management team and partner organizations that are customer-centric and focused on best-in-class execution. Manage product from cradle to grave to ensure product financial plans are met (full P&L ownership). Ensure product requirements & specification meet target OEMs & segments. Create & maintain market-focused go-to-market plans that clearly communicate product positioning, enablement plans, profitable ramps, and underlying priorities. Maintain clear and timely communication around the health, priorities, and trade-offs of the product line, across all levels of the company’s organization to drive best-in-class execution over the lifecycle of our products – from development to end-of-life. Drive product development teams to meet product objectives & close / escalate open issues affecting OEM opportunities. Drive product development teams to be accountable in 3rd party component selection (controllers, capacitors, substrates, etc.). Generate product collateral (roadmaps, sales tools, etc.). Perform ad hoc analysis for senior management on relevant metrics of the product line.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field. Position requires:
1. Data analysis and visualization using various methodologies like Tableau, PowerBI, Python programming.
2. Confluence, JIRA, Salesforce.com, SAP, and SharePoint, MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
3. Teamcenter Workflow, Active Workspace, Teamcenter Report and Query Builder.
4. Market research skills including studying market trends and performing Competitive Analysis (both qualitative and quantitative).
5. End-to-End NAND Manufacturing Process (Front-End of the Line (FEOL), Back-End of the Line (BEOL), NAND architecture, storage solutions, and relevant industry consortia (JEDEC – Joint Electron Device Engineering Council).
6. End-to-End DRAM Manufacturing Process (Front-End of the Line (FEOL), Back-End of the Line (BEOL), DRAM architecture, memory solutions, and relevant industry consortia (JEDEC – Joint Electron Device Engineering Council)
The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $170,392.00 - $263,000. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
