Senior Principal Design Engineer

Cadence is seeking a Senior Principal Design Engineer to join its Verification team, focusing on verifying IPs, subsystems, and SoCs for first silicon success. This role demands a strong background in UVM/Test bench Development, SystemC, and Power Aware Verification, coupled with 4-5 years of experience in SoC verification at RTL/Netlist/Netlist+SDF levels, and 4 years in PCIe Protocol. Responsibilities include defining verification strategies, developing test plans, and creating efficient test benches and test cases. Must Have

• Strong UVM/Test bench Development skills
• SystemC knowledge
• 4-5 years SoC verification (RTL/Netlist/SDF)

Good to Have

• Experience in Code coverage, Functional coverage, and assertions

Exp:10-18 years Equivalent or relevant

He/she will be part of the Verification team verifying Ips/subsystems and SoCs leading to first Si success. Require a Strong hold on UVM/Test bench Development, System C Knowledge Prior Experience of at least 4-5 years in SoC verification at RTL/Netlist/Netlist+SDF level Required Experience in Power Aware Verification Worked at least 4 years in the PCIe Protocol Knowledge. Would be responsible Defining verification strategy, writing test plans, developing efficient test benches and test cases. Experience in Code coverage, Functional coverage and assertions are desired. ARM based SoC verification experience is an added advantage. Proficiency in one scripting language like Perl, C++, Python, Unix Make, Unix Shell Scripts etc. is a great plus
