As Senior Delivery Partnership Manager, you will drive the strategic growth and operational excellence of McDelivery for McDonald's UK&I. This role involves owning and elevating relationships with key third-party operators (Uber Eats, Just Eat, Deliveroo), driving performance, shaping joint strategy, and ensuring seamless execution. You will lead strategic partnerships, co-develop Joint Business Plans, champion delivery excellence, drive commercial outcomes, and manage a direct report, all while representing McDonald’s externally.

Job Description
With McDelivery now representing a significant total of UK&I sales, we’re continuing our journey of strategic growth and operational excellence. As Senior Delivery Partnership Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving this evolution – owning and elevating our relationships with key third-party operators (3POs): Uber Eats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo.
Reporting to the Delivery Director, you’ll act as senior point of contact for our delivery partners, driving performance, shaping joint strategy and ensuring seamless execution across the UK and Ireland. This is a high impact role, high visibility role with influence across the UK&I business and the opportunity to shape one of McDonalds most dynamic growth channels.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead strategic partnerships with Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo – aligning on shared goals and holding partners accountable for performance, service and brand standards
- Co-developing and executing annual Joint Business Plans with each delivery partner.
- Championing delivery excellence by collaborating with Tech, Ops and Marketing to launch new features, expand coverage and enhance the customer and courier experience
- Drive commercial outcomes by influencing partner investment in marketing, extended hours and service enhancements
- Managing and mentor a direct report, fostering growth and capability.
- Monitoring and challenging performance against SLAs to ensure gold-standard delivery.
- Representing McDonald’s externally, presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and global teams
Qualifications
What You’ll Need:
- Proven leadership experience in managing complex, high value partnerships – ideally within QSR, retail or tech enabled delivery
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving strategic outcomes through partner collaboration
- Deep understanding of McDonald’s operations or similar franchised business models
- Strong vendor/supplier management experience, preferably with third party operators (3POs) or within the quick service restaurant (QSR) sector.
- Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills with the gravitas to engage senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, challenge performance and make sound decisions
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to executive audiences and representing the brand
