Job Summary

Job Description

This role at Aptiv involves improving equipment reliability through quick response and planned maintenance, solving production field problems, and analyzing downtime. The ME Engineer will manage spare parts stock, participate in audits, and provide training for new and existing equipment. The role also includes ensuring compliance with EHS policies, promoting energy saving, and protecting employee health and safety.
Must have:
  • Improve equipment reliability by means of quick response and plan maintenance to reduce CC/LP/FA downtime.
  • Solve production field problems, analyze downtime and improve daily work.
  • Follow up approval status of purchase order, shorten purchasing cycle.
  • Manage stock of spare parts, replenish stock and adjust safety stock on time.
  • Participate in hierarchical audits of each region according to the requirements of hierarchical audits, and develop rectification plans for audit problem points
  • Responsible for new equipment operation training, existing equipment upgrade training, maintenance skills training, etc
  • New equipment is released according to standard procedures
  • Follow and support policy, target and procedure of EHS, and supervise environment protection during production operation.
  • Comply with the requirement of APTIV EHS (for instance, leakage emergency plan, LOTO, fire operation, high-place Operation etc)
Good to have:
  • Developed and implemented TPM activities
  • Master basic knowledge of electrical automation (digital and analog electronics, etc.), mechanical principles (Auto CAD and Solidworks, etc.), and computer fundamentals (software development, etc.)
  • Able to develop effective and reasonable overall work plans for complex work teams.
  • Possess a certain level of foresight and foresight, and be able to make contingency plans for major potential risks
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical electronics or other related subjects.
  • At least 3 years’ work experience in joint-venture or wholly owned enterprise.
  • Familiar with office software(Excel,Word,PPT) and computer application skill.
  • Good English communication ability and computer application skill.

Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)
