Job Description: EHS Technician

- Responsible for ensuring compliance with specific health and safety objectives for their work team, and working according to established norms, policies, and procedures.
Roles: Describe the main roles of the position
- Industrial, environmental engineering or related field
- Extensive knowledge of legal requirements in EHS (Health, Safety, and Environment)
- Experience in implementing and monitoring ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CLEAN INDUSTRY
- Control of Chemical Products and Hazardous Waste
- Preparation of Risk Assessments and Safety Training
- Investigation of accidents/incidents and coordination of Brigades and H&S Committee
- Conduct tours for risk identification and PPE monitoring
- Control of requirements for Forklifts and drivers
- Validate equipment to be used by workers and contractors before any high-risk work
- Coordination of EHS activities in different departments
- Releases of new areas and machinery
- Coordinate monthly management review meetings for EHS metrics
