Job Summary
This role requires a candidate with expertise in Ignition and Microsoft SQL to provide onsite support for MES applications during weekdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities include day-to-day support, troubleshooting production issues, maintaining and improving application performance, collaborating with customers and internal teams, managing support tickets using ServiceNow and Jira, monitoring application health, and maintaining documentation.
Must Have
- Provide onsite support for MES applications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience or strong knowledge in Ignition and Microsoft SQL
- Familiarity with Perspective/Vision modules in Ignition
- Prior experience in support projects is mandatory
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Provide day-to-day support for MES applications, ensuring minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly and effectively
- Utilize Ignition and Microsoft SQL skills to maintain and improve application performance
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to address support requirements
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolutions
- Continuously monitor MES application health and suggest improvements
- Maintain documentation related to support activities and issue resolutions
