Job Description

As a Mid-Level RF Repair Technician, you will independently manage radar subassembly repair activities related to high-frequency RF equipment. Working within the Electronic APRU (Electronic Repair Unit) and collaborating with a team of about forty people, organized into technology-specific repair cells, you will be responsible for evaluating and repairing RF/high-frequency electronic equipment. You will prepare cost estimates and facilitate equipment restoration following internal procedures. You will utilize support teams (methods, engineering, etc.) as needed, but will primarily rely on your technical knowledge and experience.
Must have:
  • Ensure repairs and tests within contractual deadlines.
  • Perform tests on analog and digital products.
  • Familiarity and capability to perform JTAG tests.
  • Complete acceptance documentation related to repairs/spare parts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure repairs and tests within contractual deadlines.
  • Perform tests on analog and digital products.
  • You are familiar with and capable of performing JTAG tests.
  • Complete acceptance documentation related to repairs/spare parts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in RF repair or related areas.
  • Proven track record of autonomously handling repairs, tests, and maintenance.
  • IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical and microwave measurements.
  • Proficiency in measuring parameters required for adjustment validation.
  • Extensive experience in performing automatic and manual measurements.
  • Skilled in testing analog and digital products.
  • Familiarity and ability to effectively perform JTAG tests.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Linux environment for troubleshooting and system operations.
  • Ability to correctly handle documentation related to repairs and spare parts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with electronic components and systems.
  • Good understanding of RF circuit design and principles.
  • Ability to ensure repairs and tests within contractual deadlines.
  • Understanding of our industrial challenges.
  • Basic English for reading technical documents.
