Job Description

Salesforce is seeking a high-performing, digitally savvy Mid-Market Account Executive to drive net new customer acquisition in the Commercial segment. This quota-carrying role focuses on winning new logos by spearheading the adoption of Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Data Cloud across the UK&I region. The AE will navigate complex sales cycles, engage senior decision-makers, and demonstrate how Salesforce accelerates digital transformation.
Must have:
  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to deal close, focusing on new customer acquisition.
  • Strategically prospect high-potential commercial businesses and identify transformation opportunities.
  • Drive cross-cloud selling, positioning Salesforce’s Digital Experience stack.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Partner internally with Solution Engineers, BDRs, Partner Managers, and Professional Services.
  • Represent Salesforce externally at digital and industry-specific events.
  • Proven success in SaaS or digital technology sales.
  • Experience driving deals with Marketing, Digital, or IT stakeholders in mid-sized or high-growth businesses.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas in complex environments.
  • Strong business acumen to articulate ROI of digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset for a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing, digitally savvy Account Executive to drive net new customer acquisition across the Commercial segment. As a Mid-Market AE, you will be at the forefront of Salesforce’s Digital Experience portfolio—spearheading the adoption of Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Data Cloud by new customers across the UK&I region.

This is a quota-carrying role focused exclusively on winning new logos. You'll be expected to navigate complex sales cycles, engage senior decision-makers, and help prospects understand how Salesforce can accelerate their digital transformation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Own the full sales cycle: from pipeline generation through to deal close—with a relentless focus on acquiring new customers.
  • Prospect strategically: identify high-potential commercial businesses, map key stakeholders, and uncover transformation opportunities tied to marketing, commerce, and data.
  • Drive cross-cloud selling: position the unified value of Salesforce’s Digital Experience stack to solve real customer problems.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships: act as a trusted advisor to executive decision-makers across marketing, digital, and technology.
  • Partner internally: work closely with Solution Engineers, BDRs, Partner Managers, and Professional Services to craft compelling, customer-first proposals.
  • Represent Salesforce externally: participate in digital and industry-specific events to drive thought leadership and brand awareness.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success within the SaaS or digital technology space.
  • Experience driving deals with Marketing, Digital, or IT stakeholders—particularly in mid-sized or high-growth businesses.
  • Track record of exceeding quota in a high-velocity, complex sales environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate the ROI of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.
