Job Summary

Nasdaq is seeking an Index Derivatives Sales Director to drive sales and growth for its Nasdaq-100 Index Options products (NDX & XND). The role involves leading sales, retention, and marketing initiatives, developing strategies, fostering client relationships, and collaborating with internal and external partners. The director will also integrate and promote products within brokerage offerings and represent Nasdaq at industry events. This position requires over 10 years of experience in financial markets sales.

Must Have

Job Description

Nasdaq's North American Markets Services Sales group is responsible for its Equities, Options, and Index Options products. The Nasdaq Index Options product suite currently comprises the Nasdaq-100® Index Option (NDX) and the Nasdaq-100® Micro Index Options (XND). We are looking for our next Index Derivatives Salesperson to join our team and help grow institutional and retail participation in this expanding market.

This position can be located in New York, Philadelphia or Chicago and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales & Growth: Lead and prioritize sales, retention, and marketing initiatives for Nasdaq-100 Index® Options (NDX & XND), targeting new and existing clients.
  • Develop & Execute Strategies: Guide short- and long-term sales plans, foster relationships, and identify new business opportunities through direct client engagement and industry events.
  • Collaborate & Align: Partner with senior management, brokerage firms, and strategic leaders to align client needs with product strategies and support sustained growth.
  • Integrate & Promote Products: Coordinate product implementation, communication, and integration into brokerage offerings, while expanding awareness among institutional and retail firms.
  • Represent Nasdaq: Attend and participate in conferences, panels, and industry events to deepen market presence and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales
  • 10+ years of sales environment in the financial markets

The base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $215,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
