Job Description

FromSoftware seeks a Motion Designer to create compelling in-game character motions, real-time rendered cinematics, and adjust camera work. The role requires expertise in 3D graphics software (specifically 3DS Max), with a focus on high-quality animation to enhance the visual appeal and atmosphere of their video games. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and passionate about animation. Responsibilities include modeling, rigging, animating characters, directing real-time cinematics, and adjusting camera angles to ensure immersive gameplay experiences. Experience with 3D software is essential, along with a university degree or 10 years of relevant work experience.

3D modeling & animation skills
Experience with 3DS Max
Rigging experience
Real-time cinematic creation

Responsibilities
- Making in-game character motions (modeling/rigging/animation)
- Making motions for real-time rendered cinematics, adjusting camera work
- Directing and adjusting real-time rendered cinematics
Video game consoles nowadays have greatly enhanced graphic rendering performance compared to what they used to. In order to produce convincing graphics and accurately render the in-game atmosphere, the quality of our motions is critical. To breathe life into our games, we are looking for someone completely particular and dedicated to animation.
Qualifications
- Experience creating motions with 3D graphics software.
- Either a graduation certificate from university (graduate school), or 10 years work experience relating to art or graphic design.
  
  (Any period of time studying art or graphic design at school may be included under work experience.)
- 3D graphics creating experience with any software is acceptable.
  (However, you will be required to use 3DS Max at work.)

260,000+ yen/month (fixed)
