Job Description

As a Motion Design Specialist, you will bring CD Projekt Red's IP and corporate brands to life through high-quality motion design projects, driving them from concept to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with senior motion designers, the team lead, and the video team to create visually compelling work that strengthens creative output. This role is key in upholding and enhancing the brand identity of IPs across all motion design platforms.

  • 3+ years of experience in motion design field.
  • Deep familiarity with CD Projekt Red's IPs, style, tone, and fanbase.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for the gaming industry and deep understanding of gaming culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation or related art field (or equivalent experience).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work.

Job Description

As a Motion Design Specialist, you will bring our IP and corporate brands to life through high-quality motion design projects, driving them from concept to final delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with senior motion designers, the team lead, and our video team to create visually compelling work that strengthens our creative output. In this role, you’ll play a key part in upholding and enhancing the brand identity of our IPs across all motion design platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Help champion brand consistency and elevate the visual identity of the company's IPs across all design projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure motion design solutions align with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices through continuous learning and research.
  • Participate in motion design reviews and critiques, providing constructive feedback to colleagues and receiving feedback on their own work.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
  • Take initiative to identify and address areas for improvement within the team.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 3+ years of experience in the motion design field.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in 3D software (Cinema 4d, Blender, Unreal Engine) and other relevant design and video software (e.g., Figma, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve).
  • Strong understanding of animation and design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Must be deeply familiar with our existing IPs — their style, tone, and fanbase.
  • Ability to translate marketing objectives into effective visual communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for the gaming industry and a deep understanding of gaming culture.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of video editing, color correction.
  • Experience in VFX and post production.
