Murex Finance

DXC Luxoft is seeking a Murex Finance professional to join their leading Murex practice. The role involves developing, testing, and implementing finance-related controls and processes, managing project tasks, assisting support groups, and contributing to overall solutions. Candidates should have a background in finance, technology, or mathematics with experience in capital markets. Responsibilities also include performing various levels of testing and participating in release cycles.

Must Have

• Good product knowledge/understanding in IRD, CRD, COM, EQD, FXD, FXMM
• Good understanding of accounting principals, accounting rules, ledger, and account balances
• Good working knowledge of Murex Accounting knowledge
• Strong understanding of Back Office functions as well as processing
• Strong functional and technical understanding on the settlement instructions
• Good knowledge of the different post-trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providers
• Good understanding of Open Settlement Protocol (OSP)
• Workflows

• Fixings process
• Confirmations
• Trade Life Cycle
• 4+ years' experience with Murex

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement Finance related controls / processes / requirements per given stream and according to Project needs
• Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various deliverables
• Assist existing support group(s) in resolve client request or issues
• Contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
• Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
