Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) is seeking a New Business Sales Professional – Digital to join their UK Digital Sales team. This hybrid role, ideally based in London or other UK offices, focuses on driving revenue and NOI growth through MMB’s benefits technology, Darwin, and Benefits You App. The role also includes consulting sales and requires building and managing a new business pipeline through internal and external channels, collaborating with MMB leadership and Growth Leaders to achieve Digital sales targets.
Must have:
  • Manage the commercial pipeline through MPower (CRM).
  • Develop relationships across MMC for wider business growth.
  • Ensure efficient and profitable client delivery within frameworks.
  • Responsible for year-over-year business growth and meeting goals.
  • Produce a personal strategy and sales plan for maximised opportunities.
  • Contribute to wider Commercial Team strategy for Digital growth.
  • Understand digital growth strategy, plans, and priorities.
  • Deliver profitable growth of new MMB clients across solutions.
  • Develop and manage a personal pipeline of prospects.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in MMB digital solutions.
  • Own and contribute to RFP responses, presentations, and proposals.

Job Details

We are seeking a talented and dynamic professional to join our UK Digital Sales team.

  • The role will deliver, as part of the UK Digital Sales team, revenue and NOI growth with a core focus on benefits technology, Darwin, and Benefits You App (Employee Engagement App).
  • In addition to Digital solutions, the role will also include consulting sales where appropriate. The professional will contribute to profit margins in line with overall divisional strategy and business plans.
  • The professional will build, develop and manage a pipeline of new business through both internal and external channels working closely with the leadership team and Growth Leaders to deliver Digital sales.

We will count on you to:

  • To manage the commercial pipeline, reported through MPower (CRM), and contribute to ensure business income levels are achieved in line with agreed targets and deadlines
  • Develop a relationship and network across MMC to ensure the Digital Growth team is helping deliver growth to the wider business
  • Ensure new clients are delivered efficiently and profitably by ensuring new services are delivered within agreed operational frameworks (legal, risk, bid-teams) in line with agreed service standards
  • Responsible for year over year growth of business through new client delivery and business expansion, and meeting the organization’s profitability and budget goals
  • Produce and deliver a personal strategy and sales plan to ensure flex software, mobile App and consulting/broking opportunities are maximised in year
  • To contribute to the wider Commercial Team strategy to support Digital growth targets and to wider growth
  • Understand digital growth strategy, plans and priorities
  • Primary responsibility for delivering profitable growth of new clients across technology, consulting and broking solutions
  • To develop and manage a personal pipeline of prospects through internal and external channels focused on benefits technology, consulting and broking opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in digital solutions for clients and prospects to support growth
  • Own and contribute to RFP responses, presentations and proposals in response to flex RFP’s in line with growth strategy

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
