Operation Specialist (Knowledge Management) - Global Payment - Jakarta

The Operation Specialist for Global Payment at ByteDance will be a primary contact for Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs), ensuring their smooth execution and adherence. This role involves developing, documenting, and implementing SOPs to drive consistency and efficiency, collaborating with various stakeholders, and monitoring compliance with regulations. The specialist will also analyze workflows for optimization, provide training, and act as an escalation point for SOP-related issues, working closely with Risk, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Automation teams to enhance operational effectiveness.

Must Have

• Serve as primary contact for operational aspects related to SOPs.
• Develop, document, and implement SOPs for consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to standardize best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of SOPs.
• Analyze operational workflows for process optimization and risk mitigation.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on SOP adherence and implementation.
• Act as an escalation point for operational issues related to SOP compliance.
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Automation teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experienced in operational process management, SOP development or related field within financial services.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional collaborations and driving process improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Team Introduction The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies across global operations.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of SOPs to align with evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
• Analyze operational workflows and identify areas for process optimization and risk mitigation.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on SOP adherence and implementation.
• Act as an escalation point for operational issues related to SOP compliance, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Automation teams to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experienced in operational process management, SOP development or a related field within financial services.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional collaborations and driving process improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders.
