This role is for an Operations Analyst at Marsh, located in Bogota, Colombia, with a hybrid work model. The analyst will be part of the health and life insurance management team, responsible for processing claims, reimbursements, and case management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include handling health and life insurance claims, tracking and closing cases, managing medical authorizations and reimbursements, reviewing documents for compliance, and collaborating with the team to resolve issues and communicate effectively with clients.
Must have:
  • Reception, settlement, and reimbursements of health and life insurance claims.
  • Case tracking and closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy specifications.
  • Management of medical authorizations and reimbursements, especially with prepaid medications, focused on health policies.
  • Detailed document review, ensuring compliance with policy conditions and evaluating claims with good judgment.
  • Collaborate with the team to proactively solve problems and communicate effectively with clients and internal parties.

  • Previous customer service experience or transferable skills
  • Knowledge of health, life, and funeral policies is desirable

Job Details

This role will be located in Bogota. It is a hybrid position that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The Operations Analyst will be part of our health and life insurance management team, responsible for processing claims, reimbursements, and case management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

We count on you for:

  • Reception, settlement, and reimbursements of health and life insurance claims.
  • Case tracking and closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy specifications.
  • Management of medical authorizations and reimbursements, especially with prepaid medications, focused on health policies.
  • Detailed document review, ensuring compliance with policy conditions and evaluating claims with good judgment.
  • Collaborate with the team to proactively solve problems and communicate effectively with clients and internal parties.

What you need to have:

  • Technologists or recent graduates in administrative or economic careers, with knowledge in insurance, especially health and life.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in analysis and document management.
  • Experience in insurance reports, medical authorizations, and reimbursements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Decision-making, conflict management, and communication skills.
