Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the migration of authentication systems to a unified SSO platform within the Enterprise Systems and Experience (ESE) organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust SSO solutions, collaborating with IT and security teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with security policies. You will also mentor team members and build relationships with technical leaders to enhance collaboration and decision-making, actively participating in agile teams to deliver key features.

Must Have

  • Lead and manage the migration of existing authentication systems to a single SSO platform
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust SSO solutions
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams across organizations to integrate SSO with various applications and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SSO configurations and implementations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SSO processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of SSO systems to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide advanced training and support to end-users and technical staff
  • Demonstrable knowledge of migration of IAM solutions between organizations, both on public clouds (AWS or Azure) and on-premises
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in identity and access management, specifically with SSO technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Good to Have

  • Deep understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with SSO platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Federate or similar
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and best practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certification in relevant technologies (CISSP, SSCP, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Leadership experience in managing technical teams or projects

We are growing our Identity Team within the Enterprise Systems and Experience (ESE) organization to digitize the company’s Identity Systems, and processes. Our engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively, and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company. The team is seeking a talented Senior Single Sign-On (SSO) Migration Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead critical projects in identity and access management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the migration of existing authentication systems to a single SSO platform
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust SSO solutions using industry-leading technologies
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams across organizations to integrate SSO with various applications and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SSO configurations and implementations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SSO processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of SSO systems to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide advanced training and support to end-users and technical staff.
  • Through mentoring, leading by example, etc. inspire team members to technical excellence in their performance.
  • Build relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers in other groups to enhance collaboration, information sharing, decision-making, and influence
  • Participate actively in selected agile teams to design and implement key features, fix defects, etc

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
  • Comfortable performing requirements analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels and documenting solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of migration of IAM solutions between organizations, both on public clouds (AWS or Azure) and on-premises.
  • Energetic team player who works well across boundaries and readily adapts to change and enjoys rapid development
  • Confident of your skills, abilities and willing to share what you know, while learning from others.
