Iron Mountain is seeking a qualified Warehouse Operations Specialist to join its Operations team. This role involves managing and operating the organization's warehouses, ensuring precise handling, storage, and processing of all physical goods. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory and asset lifecycle, managing material receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch, maintaining accurate records, developing operational efficiency by coordinating shipping and receiving schedules, regulating warehouse space, and ensuring compliance and facility maintenance according to established procedures.
Must Have:
  • Proven experience with data entry and 10-finger typing in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Proven experience or formal training in physical inventory management, goods processing, and reporting
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Fluent German (C1 level)
  • Class B driver's license

Iron Mountain is looking for a qualified Warehouse Operations Specialist to strengthen our Operations team. In this role, you are responsible for the management and operation of the organization's warehouses and ensure the precise handling, storage, and processing of all physical goods.

What you will do (Tasks)

In this role, you will:

  • Manage inventory and asset lifecycle: Oversee the receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of materials, maintaining accurate records of all assets within the warehouse facilities.
  • Develop operational efficiency: Create and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of goods, regulate warehouse space, and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance and facility maintenance: Maintain the effectiveness of operational processes, space utilization, and the maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment according to established procedures.

What you bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience in warehouse data management: Proven ability and experience with data entry and 10-finger typing in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Sound knowledge of inventory processes: Proven experience or formal training in physical inventory management, goods processing, and reporting.
  • Communication with customers and stakeholders: The ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Language skills: Fluent German (C1 level).
  • Class B driver's license.
