The Operations Supervisor is responsible for defined tasks or projects of moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet short-term day-to-day objectives, and solve problems through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise 10 to 15 full-time members.
- Provide work direction to specialists to effectively resolve conflicts and motivate individuals to perform as a team.
- Plan and organize daily staff activities according to client needs and demand; establishing priorities, taking into account resources and time to do so.
- Maximize the effectiveness of field operations through careful project planning and leveraging the entire inspection services team to minimize costs and increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with the client, inspection services personnel, and work teams.
- Follow and ensure compliance with applicable safety measures and procedures when performing repairs.
- Ensure control and recording of operation results, incidents, and variables, with the objective of complying with quality requirements.
Requirements
- Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechatronics engineering studies. If a university degree is not held, it must be in process and/or at least 5 years of experience in the Locomotive Maintenance Services Industry.
- Intermediate English.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Availability to rotate shifts, work on holidays and days off.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
