Purpose of Job:

Fabricates metal components of manufactured products by performing the following duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interprets fabrication plans and builds products according to plans.
• Uses all company owned methods of operating machinery, i.e., forklifts/trucks, jib cranes, overhead cranes, etc., and must be willing to train and adapt to new systems.
• Maintains time records and job records as described by supervisor.
• Ensures work area is kept in a neat and orderly manner.
• Uses fabrication machinery such as Presses, Rolls, Shears, and other moving machinery.
• Uses hand tools such as grinders, sanders, etc.
• Some duties may require installing insulation on manufactured products.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assists the Company in any necessary duties to achieve Company goals.

2. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Authority/Judgment/Disclosure/Financial Responsibility:

• Limited supervision: Work is performed to a large extent on own responsibility after assignment, with some choice of method. Occasionally develops own method.
• Mistakes and errors in judgment are moderate in nature and expense to correct, usually limited to one department or phase of work.
• This position involves work with some information that should be safeguarded, but the full import is not apparent or the effect of any disclosure would be negligible.
• This position involves the ability to act/react quickly to job activities.

The hourly entry payrate for this role is $20.00.

• The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
