Job Description

SS&C Blue Prism is seeking a Partner Manager for North America to manage relationships with specialized partners. This role involves recruiting and developing partner contacts, executing business plans, driving enablement programs, and collaborating with marketing for demand generation. The manager will identify and manage opportunities to achieve revenue goals, conduct sales presentations, and ensure partners are aware of Blue Prism's strategy. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in Alliance/Partner sales, a strong understanding of complex solution sales cycles, and experience in the software industry, particularly with AI, BPM, and Automation.
Must Have:
  • Primary relationship owner for North American boutiques / specialized partners
  • Recruit, develop and maintain partner contacts for sales and delivery
  • Develop and execute partner business plan
  • Understand partner markets and competitive strategy
  • Drive Blue Prism enablement program within partner organizations
  • Develop Robotic Automation service delivery competency and capability
  • Work with Marketing to drive maximum ROI from partner marketing investment
  • Identify, develop, forecast, and manage opportunities with partners
  • Conduct sales presentations to and in conjunction with partners to mutual clients
  • Proactively drive awareness of Blue Prism strategy and proposition
  • Transition relationships to appropriate sales and support team members
  • 8+ years of experience in Alliance / Partner sales environment with proven success
  • General understanding of complex solution sales cycle
  • Proven track record of successful Partner Sales and Solution plays
  • Able to develop long-term relationships
  • Mixture of new business and account management
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbally
  • Inquisitive and tenacious with the ability to find new opportunities
  • Ability to recruit and manage a ‘virtual’ team
  • Credible at executive and operational level with high degree of business acumen
  • Experience in software industry (prefer AI, BPM, Automation)

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Primary relationship owner for North American boutiques / specialized partners
  • Recruit, develop and maintain partner contacts (at all levels) for both sales and delivery
  • Development and execution of the partner business plan
  • Develop an understanding of the markets the partners operate in, and each partner's own competitive strategy
  • Ensure this knowledge is continually shared with team members and Blue Prism stakeholders
  • Drive, own and execute the Blue Prism enablement program within partner organizations
  • Develop increased commitment and Robotic Automation service delivery competency and capability within partners
  • Work with Marketing to drive the maximum ROI from any partner marketing investment into demand generation campaigns and vertical market plans
  • Work closely with the partner to help in the identification, development, forecasting and management of opportunities to achieve the partner's revenue goal
  • Conduct sales presentations to and in conjunction with partners to our mutual clients until they achieve self-sufficiency
  • Proactively drive awareness of the Blue Prism strategy and proposition at all levels across the partner
  • Transition relationships to appropriate sales and support team members as appropriate

What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in Alliance / Partner sales environment with proven success
  • General understanding of complex solution sales cycle and a proven track record of successful Partner Sales and Solution plays
  • Able to develop long-term relationships
