This remote position seeks an analytical and meticulous Account Manager with extensive experience in bringing value to businesses of all sizes, from global brands to new ISVs. The role involves nurturing existing reseller relationships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure partner success.
Must have:
  • Develop annual partner plans and identify new opportunities for client engagement and growth.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, build financial models, and finalize contract amendments/renewals.
  • Maintain strong partner focus, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams for seamless integration of strategies.
  • Champion partners internally and be responsible for internal reporting.
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in business development, consulting, sales, or partner/customer management.
  • Demonstrate proven experience within the payment processing industry.
  • Exhibit strong commercial acumen and Excel skills for financial forecasting and business case development.
  • Experience in driving contract amendments/renewals and leading commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to collaborate with product, legal, finance, support, and engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially to executive audiences.

Location Details: Remote - United States

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

You will be a key member of the reseller commercial team and we’re looking for an Account Manager with extensive experience bringing value for businesses of every size and industry – from globally recognized brands to new ISVs (integrated software vendors).

The ideal candidate is analytical and meticulous and enjoys engaging partners to achieve mutual success. You'll play a key role in nurturing and growing these existing reseller relationships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with our internal teams to ensure our partners' success.

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead Partner Strategy: develop annual plans, identify and capitalize on new opportunities to enhance client engagement and drive partner growth
  • Own commercial negotiations: build financial models to inform deal structuring, lead negotiations with partners, and finalize any contract amendments/renewals
  • Build relationships: maintain a strong partner focus, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and long-term relationship building
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with partner technology and business strategies
  • Champion partners internally: be the voice of your partners within GoDaddy and be responsible for internal reporting

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of business discipline which could include experiences in business development, consulting, sales, or partner/customer management that included external-facing engagement with customers or partners
  • Proven experience within the payment processing industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and excel skills to build financial forecasts, business case for new opportunities, and unit economics models
  • Experience in driving contract amendments/renewals, including leading commercial negotiations with partners
  • Experience collaborating and working alongside product, legal, finance, support, and engineering to accelerate partnership objectives and timelines
  • Exceptional communicator and presenter to executive audiences

GoDaddy's target compensation is determined based on your location and varies based on an individual's qualifications, skills and experience at the time of the offer. For this role, our targeted base pay ranges for new hires in each US Group are:

  • Group 1: $91,000.00 – $136,000.00
  • Group 2: $101,500.00 – $152,500.00
  • Group 3: $108,000.00 – $162,000.00
  • Group 4: $118,000.00 – $177,000.00
