Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to build a high-growth business in China, improving lives and advancing Philips' marketing transformation in Health Technology. The position aims to establish PR strategy, enhance category propositions, and drive consumer experience to increase brand recognition and market share for Philips' consumer product categories.
Must Have:
  • Help to establish PR strategy with global on PR framework that can well deliver brand strategy and proposition in China.
  • Help to build a network of China local media & health experts and trend setters.
  • Work closely with RBU category to drive and elevate consumer CDJ experience.
  • Develop category content thinking with best-practice facilities to improve organization-wide marketing proficiency.
  • Communicate with global and BU marketing team to translate the strategies into PR & content strategy.
  • Execute PR initiatives and engage with media to maximize the band impact and elevate the recognition of consumers to Philips brand and product categories.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

The purposes of this position are:

PR strategy supports the long-term goals of category growth and brand strength, with success measured by the extent to which Philips moves from being a nice-to-have to a must-have across its consumer product categories. Enhance category superior proposition to gain share of mind & share of voice among consumers.

He/ She plays an important role in ensuring world-class marketing by:

  • Help to establish PR strategy with global on PR framework that can well deliver brand strategy and proposition in China
  • Help to build a network of China local media & health experts (e.g., dentists, dermatologists) and trend setters, to support ongoing PR efforts through speaking engagements and media commentary.
  • Work closely with RBU category to drive and elevate consumer CDJ experience to contribute on consumer scale and efficiency
  • Develop category content thinking with best-practice facilities to improve organization-wide marketing proficiency.
  • Communicate with global and BU marketing team to translate the strategies into PR & content strategy.
  • Execute PR initiatives and engage with media to maximize the band impact and elevate the recognition of consumers to Philips brand and product categories.

You will report to Philips Personal Health PR leader and collaborate with many other teams including RBU, Media, Social, Insights team etc.,.
