TransUnion India, a leading credit information company, seeks a Senior Manager - CSR to lead large-scale corporate social responsibility projects. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and management of initiatives in Environment, Skilling, and Eye-Care. Key responsibilities include engaging diverse stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and assessing program impact. The manager will also develop and oversee employee volunteering programs, fostering a culture of inclusion. Candidates need 7-10 years of CSR experience, strong project management, communication, and analytical skills, with a commitment to sustainable business practices and social impact.

Must Have:
  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and managing large-scale CSR projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of key CSR areas such as Environment, Skilling, and Eye-Care.
  • Ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of CSR regulations, compliance requirements, and meticulous documentation.
  • Expertise in assessing the impact of CSR initiatives and reporting on outcomes.
  • Proficiency in managing large CSR budgets and ensuring optimal fund utilization.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and impact reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel, and Canva.

What You'll Bring:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Proven experience in planning, executing, and managing large-scale CSR projects. Set clear, measurable goals and outcomes for CSR programs.
  • Sector Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of key CSR areas such as Environment, Skilling and Eye-Care.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including NGOs, government bodies, and community leaders.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Strong understanding of CSR regulations, compliance requirements and meticulous documentation skills.
  • Impact Assessment: Expertise in assessing the impact of CSR initiatives and reporting on outcomes. Should be well versed with regulatory requirements.
  • Budget Management: Proficiency in managing large CSR budgets and ensuring optimal fund utilization
  • Behavioral and Soft Skills: Leadership, Communication, Strategic Thinking, Interpersonal Skills, Adaptability & Empathy and Compassion
  • Strategic CSR Branding to internal and external stakeholders
  • Volunteering Program Management: Develop and manage employee volunteering programs, encouraging participation. Coordinate volunteer activities, ensuring they align with the company's CSR goals.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Qualifications: MSW, Sociology or related fields. Other degrees may be considered if the candidate has relevant experience in CSR or developmental sectors.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable business practices and social impact assessment.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
