Presales Architect - Colombia (Future Project)

What success looks like in this role:

This is a key position in the DWS - Go-To-Market (GTM) business unit team for tasks such as: Intelligent Workplace Services, Modern Device Management including mobile devices, Transformational Services, and Proactive Experience Management.

Working with sales, Account Management, Business Partners, Service Delivery, Legal, and Finance, you will apply presales experience, business experience, and commercial acumen to develop leading solutions in response to client proposals across the world.

This critical role focuses on solution development and support for the business unit, driving successful growth rates for new clients and improving portfolio adoption among existing accounts. In this role, the Solution Architect creates unique value for Unisys clients through vigilance and solution support that utilizes Unisys' standard offering portfolio while applying consistent architectural methodologies to manage requirements based on the solution approach.

Responsibilities and Main Tasks

• The solution architect has a solid knowledge of the portfolio offerings, is capable of supporting the evaluation of client requirements, and robustly developing costs and related documentation. All with the aim of creating a high-value service solution for the client.
• The selected candidate has experience as a technical and staff leader supporting the organization's goals, needs, and objectives through operational and strategic oversight/solution development, for digital workplace services that include at least one, but preferably two of the following:
• Presales solutions for Architect Desktop workplace: transformational services, collaboration, workplace as a service, modern device management, including mobile devices, intelligent workplace services (service desk, field services, and asset management) and proactive experience management.
• Ensures that standard Unisys solutions are maximized and that Global Sourcing is used in the solution. In addition, ensures that Unisys products are considered and that standard Outsourcing solution methodologies are used in solution development.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Essential:

• Strong English language skills.
• Graduate professional and equivalent work experience greater than 3 years.
• Relevant experience in presales and technical support in the IT industry: sale/acquisition of infrastructure/outsourcing services solutions.
• Knowledge of business, industry, and market, as well as sales strategies, account/program management, service delivery, and financial analysis.
• Requires knowledge of technical services, outsourcing, and operational support in the enterprise and digital work environment.
• Experience in adapting presentations to client needs and different levels of technical understanding.
• Excellent understanding of customer service delivery and the customer-driven IT infrastructure services environment.
• Ability to adapt and perform in a continuously changing and evolving environment.
• Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix management structure.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL principles.

Desirable:

• Fluency in English.
• Formal ITIL v3 knowledge at foundation level or higher.
• Knowledge of IT service management technologies and architectures.
• C-Suite consulting experience.
