Presales Solutions Architect (gn) Microsoft AI-Services

SoftwareOne and Crayon have merged to become a global, AI-powered provider of software and cloud solutions. We are looking for a Presales Consultant (gn) Microsoft AI Services to act as a strategic advisor for enterprise customers and partners. This role involves combining deep technical knowledge in Microsoft AI with business process understanding to position innovative AI solutions, create real value, and support digital transformation. Key tasks include building customer relationships, designing technical concepts focusing on Microsoft Azure AI Services, supporting sales, driving innovation in AI and Cloud, and mentoring team members.

Must Have

• Build long-term customer relationships and strategically advise on AI, Data, and Cloud solutions.
• Develop and present tailored technical concepts with a focus on Microsoft Azure AI Services, Machine Learning, LLMs, and generative AI.
• Support sales throughout the entire sales cycle, from needs assessment to solution development and offer presentation.
• Monitor the market and actively drive innovations in AI and Cloud.
• Share knowledge and experience, supporting and mentoring architects and consultants.
• Several years of experience in Presales or Solution Engineering with a focus on AI, Data, or Cloud technologies.
• Experience working with and advising customers in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI Services, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and Microsoft 365.
• Fluent in German and English.

As a Presales Principal (gn) Microsoft AI Services, you are a strategic advisor for our enterprise customers and partners. You combine deep technical know-how in Artificial Intelligence in the Microsoft environment with a strong understanding of business processes and sales strategies. Your goal is to position innovative AI solutions that create real added value and accompany our customers on their path to digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Trusted Advisor: You build long-term customer relationships and strategically advise our Enterprise customers on AI, Data, and Cloud solutions.
• Solution Design: You develop and present customized technical concepts with a focus on Microsoft Azure AI Services, Machine Learning, LLMs, and generative AI.
• Sales Enablement: You support sales throughout the entire sales cycle – from needs assessment to solution development and offer presentation.
• Competence & Innovation: You also monitor the market and actively provide impulses for innovations in the field of AI and Cloud.
• Mentoring & Coaching: To share knowledge and experience within the team, you technically support our Architects and Consultants and act as a mentor.

What we need to see from you

Knowledge and Skills

• You bring several years of experience in Presales or Solution Engineering with a focus on AI, Data, or Cloud technologies.
• Ideally, you have already worked with and advised customers in complex Enterprise environments.
• You are very familiar with Microsoft Azure AI Services, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and Microsoft 365.
• With your strong communication skills, dealing with various customers and stakeholders is part of your daily routine.
• You also have fluent German and English language skills.
