As a Sales / Solution Sales Specialist (gn) Microsoft, you will be a key part of the Presales Team, serving as a central contact for customers seeking innovative Cloud, AI, and Security solutions. You will support the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities, strategically guiding customers through their digital Microsoft Journey. Leveraging your deep understanding of Azure, AI, and Security Solutions, you will craft compelling value propositions and tailored solutions that deliver significant added value. Your role involves actively driving new business, understanding customer needs, providing technology consulting, collaborating with partners, and staying updated on market trends.
Must Have
- Proven success in proactive sales or presales in an international environment
- Familiarity with the Microsoft product portfolio (Cloud Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Security)
- Ability to translate technological solutions into real business value
- Convincing presentation skills
- Clear communication
- Ability to build trusting relationships with customers and partners
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- Proficiency in handling changing priorities

Sales / Solution Sales Specialist (gn) Microsoft
Location: DACH-wide / Home Office | Scope: Full-time | Permanent
As a Sales / Solution Sales Specialist (gn) Microsoft, you are part of the Presales Team and a central contact person for our customers when it comes to innovative solutions around Cloud, AI, and Security. You support the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities – and strategically accompany customers on their digital Microsoft Journey. With your deep understanding of Azure, AI, and Security Solutions, you create convincing Value Propositions and develop tailored solution approaches that create real added value.
Responsibilities
- Actively drive new business: You independently identify and develop new business opportunities in the Microsoft Cloud, AI, and Cybersecurity areas – with the goal of specifically expanding the sales pipeline and leveraging revenue potential. You strategically use cross- and upselling strategies to maximize customer value.
- Understand customer needs & design solutions: You qualify customers along their digital transformation goals – from Cloud migration to AI adoption and security requirements.
- Technology consulting & presentation: You act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft technologies, present convincing solution scenarios, address technical and business objections, and accompany Proof-of-Concepts.
- Collaboration & Enablement: You work closely with sales and Microsoft partners, support Sales Enablement, and actively share your knowledge within the team to strengthen our collective expertise.
- Market observation & further development: You follow trends in Cloud, AI, and Security, keep your certifications current, and bring new impulses into customer consulting and solution development.
What we need to see from you
Knowledge and Skills
- Sales experience: You have demonstrable success in proactive sales or presales in an international environment.
- Technology understanding: You are familiar with the Microsoft product portfolio (Cloud Azure | Microsoft 365 | Power Platform | Security) and understand how to translate technological solutions into real business value.
- Communication & working style: You present convincingly, communicate clearly, and build trusting relationships with customers and partners. You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and are confident in dealing with changing priorities.
- Continuous development: You follow technological trends, actively contribute your knowledge to the team, and keep your certifications up to date.
- Language proficiency: You communicate fluently in German and English – both written and spoken.
