This position involves interfacing with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Probe, and Manufacturing to sustain multiple parts in the CHD Fab. Key responsibilities include improving quality, yield, scrap, and cost. Device Engineers act as the primary liaison between the factory and the product, test, and design teams. Specific duties include supporting volume production, troubleshooting process integration or qualification issues, yield enhancement, parametric trend monitoring, improving manufacturability, and NPI qualification/production ramps. The role also involves investigative work to find root causes and offers an excellent opportunity to further knowledge of device integration of multiple device technologies.
Must Have:- Interface with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Probe, and Manufacturing
- Sustain multiple parts in CHD Fab by improving quality, yield, scrap and cost
- Serve as primary liaison between factory and product, test, and design teams
- Support volume production and troubleshoot process integration/qualification issues
- Perform yield enhancement and parametric trend monitoring
- Improve manufacturability and manage NPI qualification/production ramps
- Conduct investigative work to find root cause
- Engineering Degree (bachelor’s or higher in electrical, chemical, materials engineering)
- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor (process, device, yield enhancement, failure analysis, product, test)
- Statistical Data Analysis skills (SPC, DOE, etc.)
- Data retrieval skills (Klarity, Datalog, JMP,)
