Job Summary
Marvell is seeking a highly motivated Principal Product Engineer to join its dynamic product engineering team, focusing on advanced technologies like Server & Network Processors. This role involves collaborating with US and CM teams to transition NPI products to volume production, sustaining and improving production yield, and proactively managing production line risks. The engineer will also implement automatic in-process controls, monitor yield, and perform failure analysis at chip/Sipho and optical sub-assembly levels.
Must Have
- Collaborate with US and CM teams to transition NPI products to volume production.
- Sustain and continually improve production yield.
- Proactively manage production line risks in collaboration with PTE, SQE and planning groups.
- Work closely with the US module PE team to collaboratively own products across product lifecycle.
- Implement automatic in-process controls and monitor production line yield on a regular basis.
- Perform production line failure analysis (FA) and failure disposition at chip/Sipho level and Optical sub-assembly level.
- Master’s degree in Photonics, Opto-Electronics, or a related field.
- 7 years of industry experience in product and test engineering for volume production.
- Focus on Silicon photonics, optical transceiver modules, subassemblies, or other related opto-electronic devices.
- Strong experience in testing circuit development and troubleshooting.
- Ability to execute tasks in accordance with detailed test plans.
- Familiarity with assembly and packaging processes such as wire bonding, optical alignment, and die attach.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Prior NPI/manufacturing experience in silicon photonics, optical transceivers or other optoelectronic devices.

You will part of a dynamic product engineering team working on most advanced technologies including Server & Network Processor. You will work closely with Test, hardware, Design and Firm ware engineering teams to design, develop, and debug products and solutions.
What You Can Expect

What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Photonics, Opto-Electronics, or a related field;
- 7 years of industry experience in product and test engineering for volume production, with a focus on Silicon photonics, optical transceiver modules, subassemblies, or other related opto-electronic devices.
- Prior NPI/manufacturing experience in silicon photonics, optical transceivers or other optoelectronic devices is a significant plus.
- Strong experience in testing circuit development and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to execute tasks in accordance with detailed test plans.
